  1. Bruno currently has two solo hits
  2. Go listen to Siri and leave Flo alone
  3. Yeah I didn't expect that whole album would be so muted and reserved , there isn't that many high highs for me. Faves : Never get over me, bad thing, stay and big feelings. And I wish she would stop this whisper singing on some songs, I would have liked oh well more if she actually sung the chorus in full chest voice. If the writing and melodies are not that excellent she should use the thing that differentiates her, which is her voice, to actually improve the overall execution of her song ideas. The album isn't bad in a 143 way the worst it could be is boring.
  4. Exactly, A*ART, your personal dislike for Tyla won't make her music bad
  5. Renaissance
  6. Why is the streaming suddenly shooting up? Does it have a tiktok trend or something?
  7. Wrong. That Girl, Mr Nonchalant and Kiss are single material and there are other songs better than Push 2 Start and Chanel
  8. Obsessed with Hot Tubs currently
  9. No I'm not being dense and you're not being trutful in how accessible dancehall is compared to afrobeats and amapiano. If you're comparing Tyla's and Rihannas career trajectories it would mean Tyla would have abandoned amapiano two years ago but that's not the case, at this point of her career Rihanna was releasing pure pop music. Comparisons of popstars will always happen whether they make sense or not , people will always try to humble or pin woman against each other , it happened with Rihanna and Beyoncé, Ariana and Mariah, Arianna and Sabrina, Mariah and Whitney, Whitney and Diana Ross and I could go on and on. I think it's dense to dislike Tyla because of comparisons she has no control over, is she supposed to not say that Rihanna is her idol because of the pr implications when it's the truth that she is? Was Rihanna supposed to not say Beyoncé is her idol because of pr implications? Like I want Rihannas stans to stop the fake concern over Tyla's commercial success and be honest about the problem they have with her, not her stans on Atrl or Twitter but her directly. Because you can't be mad that Tyla a coloured girl from South Africa is inspired by Rihanna who's one of two biggest black popstars of this century it can't be that
  10. And the reason why they were checking for her is because she made completely different music from Tyla which is a fact you keep on ignoring. The people who want Rihanna will listen to Rihanna because she makes DIFFERENT MUSIC FROM TYLA.
  11. None of the world cup promo you're talking about had anything to do with Apop, she sung the national anthem and her feature with future which is not in the album. Since when is the met gala musical promo, name one artist who had saw a jump in a their streams because they were at the met gala. The today show performance was months ago and it was for Chanel way after it blew up. Can you guys please stop acting as if Tyla had an abundance of meaningful promo when she did not. Like yes a grammy gives you musical credibility (e.g Victoria Monet) but it doesn't trump payola, industry connections, investment and playlisting (e.g Katseye).
  12. What are you talking about? Yes Tyla is inspired by Rihanna but no musically, they make totally different music, Tyla's music is a fusion of afrobeats , amapiano, rnb and dancehall, she's not making the same music as Rihanna. Just like Zara Larson is inspired by Beyoncé but they make totally different music. The only thing they have in common is being foreign/exotic lightskin girls who are trying to make it in America with a unique sound ( and that was only at the beginning of Rihannas career cause she switched genres on her second album).
  13. The album is okay.
