So another Palestinian member gets permabanned while many many Zionists with a well-documented history of pro-genocide/pro-occupation/racist posts are still roaming around the website freely. Yet we are supposed to believe that this place "supports a Free Palestine" and is a safe space for its Palestinian/Arab members. Please.  

 

This obviously does not come as a shock to me when the admin in question has previously blamed Hamas for starting "this conflict" (lol) and for Palestinians being killed:

And they are still here. But Palestinian members who the admins decide are annoying are permabanned without a second thought. It's genuinely outrageous.

I personally have made comments stating that Joe Biden should have been put to death over his support of Israhell and did not receive a single warning point because despite all accusations, the people in charge understand that lines get crossed when emotions are (rightfully) running high. Pretending like your viewpoints haven't been given incredible leeway even with some users blatantly skirting the line between anti-Zionism and anti-semitism is ridiculous. Y'all want everyone to fall in line and blindly support the resistance without reservation and that's not how it works. We are allowed to question Hamas. We can be both for the liberation of Palestinians and question the motives and actions of those speaking for them. If you don't like the idea of a forum that supports the freedom to discuss a variety of viewpoints and simply want to live in an echo chamber, go find a subreddit that caters to that. Everyone else on here is just as sick of navigating how to discuss these things without being accused of being an Israeli shill.

Go make a thread about Russia's senseless and imperialistic invasion of Ukraine on Ga Ga Daily(if the Russian, fighting age admin/owner, Kirill Nguyen, ever made it back to his own website after mysteriously disappearing during the conflict), then make the same thread on here and see which one is censored before you make the heinously offensive accusations against Ryan. I was permanently banned from that website for making a thread to combat islamophobia. I know PLENTY of people(including myself) who reported active pedophiles to the people in charge of that forum when we were kids for it to be swept under the rug and nothing being done about it. Moderators on that website actively defend racism.

 

 

Bullying somebody who is desperately trying to keep this community going and already on the verge of quitting for banning somebody that he previously warned several times to stop attacking him is miserable behavior. If political discussions are the only thing you care about on a POP MUSIC forum, then please leave, quickly.

I can't even… if folks don't want to engage, then that's on them… the election megathread objectively has some of the brightest users (sorry but petty Stan nonsense isn't that appealing to me) posting well thought out takes back and forth… legit such a streamlined way to find out what's going on, better than any Reddit or bluesky thread precisely because it LACKS the groupthink of those spaces…

Given the events of today and actions towards pro-Palestine users here (and lack thereof towards the most egregious Zionist users as mentioned earlier in this thread) evidently we don't have that…. And given that liberal users get mad everytime their views are challenged (I saw it nonstop on the election thread the past week when the potential Harris 2028 run discourse was brought up) it seems that it's a certain group of people who *actually* want an echo chamber. "Trump bad, GOP bad" like that holds any meaning on a site where the overwhelming majority of the site already agreed with that…

There's a very clear difference between engaging and saying that folks are mad that they're engaging. I don't mind going back and forth with you and im Not complaining about it… the actions of the admin recently to ban members he disagrees with and then accuse other members against that of being in "groupthink" is a ridiculous course of action imo.

There are users in this group that we're all fed up with who literally refused to criticize Donald Trump's Zionist agenda when it was pointed out to them during the last election cycle, while continuing to barrage the forum with Kamala Harris hate.
