The album is not very strong. She can do better. I don't know if it's a matter of bad A&Rs or if it's actually that hard to find creatives that can write good r&b but these girls are too talented to be putting out collections of fillers. 

It's clear the problem here are the songs. She's way above of what she's releasing.

Did you guys see her at that radio show? They told her on air, I repeat on air, that her label sent in the album way too late for them to listen. So she had to respond to her label being messy, live!!!!

I saw I felt so much second hand embarrassment for her. Charlemagne really put her on the spot. 
 

She handled it well tho and the other female radio hosts carried the interview. Still, its pretty unfortunate that they got the album so late.  

I am lost with all the negative comments. I think this album is fantastic. It's going to go platinum in my house hold.

 

I will say "Taste" is such a bad song. Why was this chosen as the lead with such stronger songs available. 
 

People compared this to Chole debut album "In pieces"  i think this is MILES better. 
 

However Chole sophomore album " In paradise" is better than Coco debut though. 
 

I was waiting to hear the album before buying tickets to the tour I'm going now.

Exactly? I was like uhm hello? Its the girls' big day and you keep mentioning that her team hates her??? over something that was likely a mistake. 

 

You can easily interview someone without hearing the full album. They just wanted to create a moment with her but she was not having it and still kept her head up! Love how confident she is. 

 

Would be my last time as well, they are so negative.

idk angie martinez said she didnt got album in advance either, and zach sang also didnt know the album, he had to ask her everything... i think its def messed up,

shes been treated like after thought. not sure what to say how i think she responded even though she bragged about media training, ok, but there was not much personality there,

she was very "clean". making faces and saying "period" after someone says something to me is not personality, seems very manufactured, but ok. i guess music speaks for itself.

to me on that breakfast show glue from wig being visible was bigger offence, like can her glam team do her right. her weave on zach and angie was great. 

 

Too much fewcha on MBD, but other than that a really good listen. 

Are y'all expecting her to re-invent the R&B wheel?!? like…

That run of Taste- On Sight- AEOMG- Thang 4 U- to Here We Go (Uh Oh) is the highlight of the album .

Halfway through. AEOMG/Here We Go are incredible. I think the songwriting is a little blah, but her vocals are carrying. Production is nice.

Yeah, just doesn't feel like the great writers are spending time on R&B music nowadays. Which is a shame.

The 1-2-3 punch of On Sight, AEOMG, and Thang 4 You. 

 

Hit You Where It Hurts is one of the most beautiful songs she has recorded. The only song I dislike is Most Beautiful Design. They should have slapped the "buzz single" sticker on that and left it off, it's so out of place. Lmfao. But overall, it's a great album, especially for a debut.
