I don't think there's a good relationship between SM and WINWIN's studio.

 

His contract will likely expire in July 2026 which is just over a year away and idk if we will see him with WayV again before that time. It's possible but unlikely. Especially because it's been a while since they've been active together.

 

Personally I think he has pulled a Lay/Victoria situation, meaning SM probably doesn't care to drag him back to Korea...they will be getting a cut of his activities in China anyway.

I don't disagree that local context matters, but the context of her career matters, as well. You've ignored everything about her to try and grasp at a gotcha moment. 
 

As far as the company's apology goes, I don't disagree. But an unhealthy amount of SM's male idols and staff are PPP/super conservative which is why so many of us girl group stans are always trashing them (especially SuJu). I highly doubt SM will take legal action because their higher-ups probably support PPP to some extent (just like all of the Big 4). I'm hoping the label's stocks take a hit and it teaches them a lesson.

I'd be interested to see the process. Sometimes it takes them about three weeks to post pictures but sometimes it comes in a matter of hours. These photos were only a few days old so SM should have definitely stopped them before the post. They need a better PR team.

I have a theory that most of the higher-ups are PPP at SM which makes me hate them more. SM has gotten into numerous conservative scandals and it is usually without the artist's consent nor knowledge. The most infamous is when they put a swastika on SNSD's Genie physical album.

#8 on the charts and a definite hit. Their physical sales are growing and they're the only 4th gen boy group aside from TXT getting hits.

There is no use of arguing over aespa's / Karina's haters at this point This base alone is infamous of creating conspiracy theories ever since the girls debuted like it's nothing new.  they can call her MAGA but  god are on Karina / aespa side
