nnn the popup message nnn.. thought i was getting banned for a sec

  • I'm going to eat the spaghetti today while reading all the meltdowns. I'm still not going to stream Spaghetti though but I will choose to stream this instead     After all the

No personal attack I made was as heinous as knowingly lying about accusing somebody of using racial slurs. Something which I have defended idols I'm an anti-fan of from too. We really aren't the same.

What others see as a growing list of proof that I'm the problem, I see as a growing list of users who have been mistakenly allowed to personally attack me on too many occasions without serious action being taken. Two-sided issues need two-sided solutions. I'm not going to be the punching bag for these freaks any longer. I'm not budging an inch on this or willing to drop it after previous attempts to stop it went nowhere. If nobody except me is willing to admit their part in this, we can all go down together.

im so happy i ordered it yesterday i cant believe nordstrom got sold out too

imma see how much i can resell this for :jonny5:

Imagine saying "You are having a meltdown, BTS won't be affected by people here" and then the next week, melting down for 24 hours only because people are questioning a 25 year-old woman living in a country that experienced a coup attempt and has national elections in a couple of days... when even we, K-pop stans, know the associations of such symbols :rip: and then try to convince people they are not the problem and saying it's not about gender issues :bam:  men can react, women can only overreact, I guess, Taylor was right :michael:

I have nothing against Karina, but she messed up, I don't know why it's so hard to admit that. Being ignorant or apolitical is not brag material either, not in a country like South Korea. That should've been the end of that. Why would you get mad at people who are clearly showing concern or expressing disappointment to this point.

That isn't what is happening here. There are respectful non-bullying conversations happening alongside this extremely toxic one. This is about trolls lying and ganging up for the 100th time for me.

Karina already apologized, nobody is saying she didn't make a mistake.

Everytime I come in here it's a fight:deadbanana2:

what happen to the Korean pop Music?

I'm happy to die on this hill. What's happened isn't acceptable. The toxic environment in this thread isn't going to magically fix itself while users still think they're allowed to get away with bullying and lying just because it's against a user who is brazen with their tone.

The last time this was re-litigated in poor faith because somebody lost an argument and wanted to attack me, users who were tagged in to join in on attacking me accidentally let it slip that in spite of issues in this thread, I'm more than capable of getting into arguments without making it personal and obsessive. I'm obsessed with the music and the idols first and foremost. I can't say the same for another group of users who includes people that have been banned from this forum before under different names or even openly admit to no longer being a kpop fan but still frequently come in here specifically to be toxic and negative.

Notice how I haven't been chiming in since last night but you keep vague posting about me talking about toxticity when you're the one that's been going back and forth for the past 12 hours. Keep me out of your mind and thoughts of me off your keyboard and focus on seeing your favs

When we're relitigating years old issues which you are constantly inserting yourself into at EVERY step(it has literally never come up once without you trying it with me), going back a couple hours isn't a stretch. I don't know how many times we have to agree to bury the issue and try to interact more normally on the forum only for you to cosign the next round of hateful clownery because you just can't help yourself before you start to realize that you might actually be the issue. This is my only ATRL account. If you aren't a kpop fan, there's no reason for you to be in here. That's not an insult or a read, that's a fact and that's how every other base works. Antis get threadbanned. The only defense you have ever come up with from that point is that you don't like the group of users in the jpop thread, when you clearly don't like users in here either. :heart2:

This is where I go to discuss kpop and I would love to just talk about my favs without being dragged for things I didn't do by people who then try to gaslight about the fact that they were ever dragging me.

everything is noise, so let's just stick with the facts.

the fact is, karina posted herself wearing a giant red #2 and caption the post with a rose, all 3 symbols aligning with the PPP in the context of an election mere days away, on top of that a "response" that dodges the million dollar question of whether she supports the PPP or not. the fact also is that lee jae myung's son publicly stated that she wanted to "shove chopsticks up her ******" and "eat her," so it is not far-fetched to believe that she does not want to support that family.

personal attacks are an emotional response not a logical one due to weak defense, and everyone knows who is hurling those insults in this thread and who isn't.

The fact is that Karina deleted the post immediately, then apologized once she saw that deleting the post didn't do enough to stop the speculation.

That is the entire issue. Clearly they don't if the posts are all public and people are still being allowed to endlessly lie about me.

The fact also is that the post was still made, the symbolism was still expressed, and you do not know the reason why the post was deleted.

She called the political reading of it a misunderstanding. I have a much better hypothesis for why she deleted it than any other alternative, given that it's supported by the actual sequence of events. You're the one comparing wearing a jacket at the wrong time to running around with a butcher knife stabbing people. I've been a little too patient with you because you haven't been hurling out the same ridiculous attacks but you're being ridiculous in a different way.

Did she explicitly disavow the PPP?

She doesn't need to. She never explicitly supported them. She wore a red jacket and her political opponents took it as a dogwhistle.

You're so right, she just posted herself wearing a giant red #2 while captioning it with their symbol.

idgi why karina's apology was posted on bubble only when she posted one for her dating "scandal" on IG :rip: SM needs to do something fast… like find a way to suspend those right wingers claiming karina

She captioned it with a rose emoji. I already have proven to you that she has matched the color of her outfit to a flower emoji in the past.

The emoji definitely matched her outfit alright. It was a complete set. lmaoo

The thing is, the actual high profile right-wingers claiming her aren't saying "Karina wore a red jacket so she supports us". The highest profile example was just somebody posting shoutout to Karina on their story with Supernova's MV in the background. The people who have enough sway for their Karina posts to be defamatory have been careful to not explicitly call the jacket an act of support. SM doesn't have an angle here. The most she could do is apologize a THIRD time but that's ridiculous when she already did a personal apology and a pr apology.

I get that people want her to come out swinging against them, but that would be career suicide. It's unfortunate that she hasn't but it's not hard to understand why. She's responsible for 3 other girls here. This is the party that won the last election and the political leaning that wins almost every election in Korea at every level. Wearing the jacket was a mistake but she shouldn't be compelled to throw her and her member's careers away over it.

lemme go pickup my nordstrom order before the staff notices that it went viral and realizes how much its worth and conveniently cancels it :pancake:

like i said, she needed to post her apology on instagram but it's kinda late now since there are already two apologies

and as for SM, they can still do more to protect her :coffee2: they have the power to blacklist but not suspend some forum accounts?

They did promise to take action in the future. I really hope it isn't just pr speak this time. There is no SM blacklist in 2025 though(Jaejoong has returned to TV, Baekhyun is promoting his music, etc) and it only ever happened in the first place because of SM's position as an acting agency/production company. They have a lot of power with broadcasting networks that they don't over social media.
