The 7+3 years ended sometime around July/August 2024 (which is probably why SM rushed Cosmic)

JOY had news articles saying she was leaving back in September (so about a month after alleged contract expiry), but then SM said they were negotiating and she eventually re-signed

 

Wendy is speculated to have had a delayed contract end date, due to her accident which meant she was inactive for around 6 months of 2020.

 

Yeri only debuted in March 2015, so it seems she has left almost as soon as the 7+3 years were up.

i get why they made this choice though. since wendy's accident, every comeback has felt underwhelming in one way or another

What a week

 

• RV disband (SM groups never officially disband but they're shelved indefinitely)
• BLACKPINK racist scandals (again)
• NJZ defying court orders and redebuting

I know it's sad, but RV already lasted a lot longer than I thought they would. SNSD were as inactive as they are probably going to become by their 9th year already. 

Sad about the RV news but that is kinda the destiny of most GGs. They gave us so many great songs, MVs and moments.

Hopefully we will see them in the future. Maybe for the 15th anniversary like they did for SNSD. 

 

I guess SM can surely give us a comeback for Seulgi and Irene's subunit and a proper Joy solo debut, right? RIGHT!?

Let's enjoy aespa for the moment because maybe they can make it to 10 years but we really don't know. 

 

 

 

This can only mean one thing and although she kinda teased it a few weeks ago, Joy comeback is coming

ARTMS' Burn is kind of disappointing. such a nothing song.
