So we're halfway through the TXT solo debuts now... I suspect Huening King's musical style will be similar to Beomgyu (but with strong vocals), and Taehyun's will be R&B influenced.

 

So what is everybody's favorite utada song since this is a jpop thread now? Truly a reverse of the move kpop listeners did on anime/jpop forums during early gen 2.

aespa are preparing an album but I'm not sure if that's being said in reference to the mini or to the jp comeback.

 

Last I heard, the kakao-columbia deal conflicted with aespa's warner deal and was putting western plans on pause. Kakao is trying to divest from entertainment and Whiplash eng ver also doesn't have Warner's name on it. No idea exactly which side things changed for to allow Whiplash eng ver but hopefully if SM took time out of aespa's insanely busy schedule for studio time to record this they have Superhymnova and ArmaGODden ready to drop too.

I feel like that huge OST song she did in 2017 was both a blessing and a curse because she could be set for life, but it also overshadowed everything else she did and would do in the future.
