I can't find the user that ended up saying that Aespa last year was teasing and had plans for a full English album. Was it delayed? Scrapped? What exactly are their plans for this year? Another mini? Or another full album? More OST's? I am starving! I've seen them live now 3 times and I'm always left satisfied. I'm still hoping that the registered tracks that were confirmed last year still see the light of day Drift, Beep Beep, Dirty Work, Tumblin, Wee, Smile, Love That For Me, Mirror Mirror and Beautiful Dreamer are still coming. I haven't stanned a girl group this much since Blackpink. Also GISELLE NEEDS TO KEEP THE PINK HAIR AT ALL COSTS. The difference in her personality and stage presence is a whole 180.

They have a mini scheduled for q2(before the end of June)

 

Theyre headlining summer sonic in Japan this August so a Japanese cb is incoming either summer or fall too 

 

aespa are preparing an album but I'm not sure if that's being said in reference to the mini or to the jp comeback.

 

Last I heard, the kakao-columbia deal conflicted with aespa's warner deal and was putting western plans on pause. Kakao is trying to divest from entertainment and Whiplash eng ver also doesn't have Warner's name on it. No idea exactly which side things changed for to allow Whiplash eng ver but hopefully if SM took time out of aespa's insanely busy schedule for studio time to record this they have Superhymnova and ArmaGODden ready to drop too.

a playlist of great individual songs doesn't make a good album. if that was the case teenage dream would be critically acclaimed

I don't take it as shade but let's be realistic if we want the girls to actually crossover they're gonna have to work with an established big name producer to come up with a certified hits which is why I specifically named dropped Zedd, Swedish House Mafia, DJ Snake, Tiesto, Calvin Harris and David Guetta. Jax Jones, Marshmello, Joel Corry are "younger, new, freeh" DJs that can work with them too. I just want these girls to take over so badly. They can easily serve us something like 365/Clarity/Stay The Night, The Motto/10:35, I'm Good,  This Is What You Came For/How Deep Is Your Love, You Know You Like It, Out Out and All Day And Night moment hands down.
