she name dropped ILLIT at her press conference because HYBE made her INTERNAL compliant public - she made a remark that it's not kid's fault and that company should be blamed instead. the same goes with LSRFM, she didn't say anything bad about them, only that NJZ was supposed to debut before them but plans changed once Sakura joined HYBE. it was in MHJ scope to protect NJZ in the first place and she did, without making hurtful remarks about other groups. again, those things could've been resolved without public even knowing about that - HYBE knew it's convenient because stans would side with them over NJZ but they still didn't achive the result they wished for.

 

she always blamed the executives, not the groups, for inserting themselves into NJZ business, which again, was in NJZ interest! she didn't place any charges against other agencies (Source and Belift did) and sick apology demands from THE GROUP MEMBERS (Belift did), she wanted to resolve it officially and internally but HYBE went ballistic. basically she listed the things that were against NJZ interest and proved HYBE's wrongdoings and favorable approach towards some groups - then HYBE made everything public, which backfired but people still don't get that HYBE is at fault. 

 

why should stans blame MHJ (to this day) when it's HYBE who made this whole thing going on publicly instead of settling everything up properly and internally?

Because only one of the two parties made a good faith attempt to resolve things in private before using the news cycle to smear each other

because that's the main and possibly only thing antis have against MHJ 

 

how did she dare to mention other groups (mostly in neutral way) to protect her own group? by that logic she should let HYBE bury NJZ with their agenda, that's it 

 

but because she didn't keep her mouth shut, like most executives in kpop do, it backfired and hurt HYBE and other groups - now stans are mad, because if it would keep going only based on HYBE media play, only NJZ would be hurt (and shelved); there's simply nothing more to talk about, because MHJ didn't do anything wrong to any group

To be honest, fans of both groups are choosing to be obtuse and find it convenient to blame MHJ. LSF was already getting criticism from the EASY MV, the Starbucks thing (which was silly) and their encore, same deal with Illit.

 

And again, MHJ was specifically talking about their agencies, like she literally said on her livestream that the members were not at fault. To me, it felt like it was a case of bad timing...

 

Also, let's not forget how Ador was publicly giving misleading info about Hanni's Visa situation to the press, directly leading to the "illegal immigrant" hate comments...

Because BTS members are musicians and they always release music? 2 BTS members literally dropped songs during Jimin's album release week in 2023  there are only so many months in a year and it's not like J-Hope is a threat to Jennie or Lisa, so what even would be the point?

nothing against Lisa (other than praying for her finally making some use of her dancing and performing skills) but Jennie slayed  the mini tour idea was brilliant 

all i know is that illit is a newjeans clone group to the point where even medias were confused so min heejin didn't tell a SINGLE lie

Are they gonna go and deliver a stay or something? It makes no sense that their music is this bad when they're from one of the biggest companies in Korea and have access to the producers and teams that made and pioneered the entirety of the girl crush concept in KPop. 
 

The fact that there's groups with a green screen and LED lights outdoing them when they have millions behind them is crazy. There's not even in it girl there. This is who they pioneered as 9 Jennies?
