A temporary injunction in these kinds of cases is actually really standard in entertainment contract litigation. I still have faith that NJZ will prevail because there are limitations around how long a trainee can be with a company before they're legally obligated to debut, and for mandatory activities during the course of contracts. These legal precedents exist specifically to keep idols and trainees from wasting years of their lives, which is exactly what an anti-NJZ ruling would be encouraging.

 

SM technically won their case against JYJ and were found to be not guilty of slave contracts, but they were still allowed to leave and it brought contract reform to the industry. 

 

There's several layers of legal precedent for powerful Korean entertainment companies not getting their way in situations where they're being evil, even if it's not aways a black and white victory for the artist.

Girl what serve, If you read ahead I do agree the Korean justice system seems very flawled and unfair but until today, civil cases (no matter if you think it is fair or not) are won in court and not through public opinion, what else can I say
