It's more nuanced than that… NJ is NJ because of MHJ and they were trying to force her out. She is literally the only one who would make sure they didn't get shelved. It's very obvious that once they outed MHJ that NJ was going to get like one comeback a year for obligatory reasons and essentially turn into CF models so HYBE could at least make money while not promoting them.
