Get up and dance is the worst song on the mini so thank god

Personally I like JOY's title + mini album...but I can also see why people wouldn't.

She kinda delivered a 2nd gen release in a 4th/5th gen world.

 

I was expecting a more punchy chorus on Love Splash! but I think it suits her. @Night was kinda right that she probably would have been better off with a more mature concept than this though.

 

Weirdly, I thought I would like "Get Up And Dance" the most but actually I don't...the drums being literally copy & pasted from Cookie Jar is really offputting

 

Overall, I think anyone who is a JOY fan can find something to like about this album. BUT could SM have done better for her...? Yes.

Love splash started off shaky but by the end I enjoyed it. Have not listened to the album yet. Love the summer vibes of the video but confused why a grown woman would be at summer camp unless i interpreted it wrong?
