Does the title have a sample? There are a million credits on this…

This is literally the perfect time for Republic Records and JYP to push Strategy ft. Meghan The Stallion on radios, like they better get moving! :fish2: This have potential to become an actual global hit

The way Strategy and Takedown have both completely overshadowed and cannibalized the entire "This is For" era. I wonder if they should've waited with the comeback, and focus on those 2 songs instead? But the again, they are going on tour and needed a new album attached to it. I think the next era will probably perform better and actually benefit more from the post Kpop Demon Hunters era than "This is For" did.

The consistent growth :clap3:

@Mitsuki I've never understood the narrative of SKZ being labeled as "flops" pre-2020 by people including some STAYs - when they were actually the most streamed 4th gen group back in 2019 as well.

Just see it as these two songs getting new lives because of the movie, and nothing else. This Is For isn't being "cannibalized" at all, it's literally serving it's purpose: an album released in their 10th year to be able to go on tour with the same name. It would be considered a wasted effort if the album was the only thing happening but it's not, they literally have the tour and the solos for each member, and we can tell the entire focus is on those things rn. So bottomline: Takedown and Strategy getting attention is just a byproduct of the movie's attention, and the album is doing its own thing. This Is For is actually doing pretty standard on Spotify for their standards from what I can see.

Ugh I really can't vibe with Dirty Work like that. The chorus is just too repetitive/lowkey. I really hope they stop chasing sounds they think will work in the west and just do kpop. Hopefully Kpop Demon Hunters shows Kpop companies you can have a kpop sound and still succeed in the west.

Idk I think you just need a basic song, mostly english lyrics, a big platform like a Netflix movie and finally and most importantly not look korean but rather like a cartoon so the GP can feel the korean vibes but not too korean:rip:

They were never the nugus the way some Stays and K-pop stans made them to be. They were mid-tier during their rookie days. For reference, in 2019, Stray Kids was the 7th most streamed K-pop act according to Spotify Wrapped. Above even their seniors back then, GOT7.

I already said It here to you, but even though I only started following them in 2020, the 2 years before God's Menu was felt like they would have their breakthrough at any moment. It could've been even earlier If they chose a more well-received follow-up song to MIROH.

h2h being 8 instead of 9 was already a buzzkill as SM's attempt at snsd 2.0 but tbh most of the members arent that interesting so i doubt it wouldve really made a difference
