Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if it's MHJ setting up a new company that she majority owns, with investors. But we'll see. They are obviously money makers, but some agencies might be scared off from signing them, because the issues with the HYBE contract are not yet legally resolved. It's a risky strategy.

NJZ graduating to an XG concept is not the groundbreaking gag some people in here think it is. 

 

That being said, I'm interested in how their new songs will set them apart. MJH did a good job with their older material.

 

also side note, I LOVE Born Again. Even if Raye and Doja carried the song, Lisa slayed the MV.

it's not groundbreaking for them to be throwing a nomination to arguably the most successful GG of last year. We all know most of these award shows reward commercial success more so than quality.

Maybe the new girl group XGALX teased was actually NJZ

They're 4th gen. Sure they redebuted in 5th gen, but they'll always be 4th gen.

 

And it's technically the same group - just rebranded for copyright reasons.

I would be very interested to see how their tour does. They get the best playlisting here, but they aren't really as relevant as NJ, Aespa and IVE. Most of their physicals can still be found sitting on Walmart shelves. And their Apple Music numbers are good, but a big step down from Spotify. Their biggest song, Easy, was nowhere near Whiplash, Supernova and How Sweet on the charts.
