There is no other Korean album deserving of the AOTY other than Armageddon, you can say whatever you want on the second half but this alone clears whatever competition they had last year

Also if that were the case, HYBE would be focusing on much more touring, on the back of this "global success". Yet aespa and IVE are way ahead in terms of that and had way more success on that front in Japan and the U.S. too.

Yeah, LSFM's international success is a bit overblown, considering the measurable metrics are just a few low-peaking positions on Billboard charts. HYBE has a firmer grasp of the western market than any of the other K-pop companies do, so it doesn't surprise me that they can get their groups attention there, but they also invest far more resources in playlisting and scrupulous Spotify coverage, as well. Even then, there's still no landmass of a difference between their numbers and those of the other premier GGs to indicate a 'clear lead', especially considering that they don't tour, which I feel is probably the most accurate way of measuring popularity.
 

People also seem to forget that HYBE (as per alleged leaked docs) is not above inflating their numbers to make them seem bigger than they actually are.

That's 7 out of 10 tracks are legitimately solid. While i don't care for Long Chat, Prologue or Melody cause I could care less about their ballads they still serve because this is where they show off their vocals which are immaculate
