YG is absolutely on the edge of bankruptcy, having all three of your girl groups tour in the same year is kinda unhinged

 

But yeah Wendell is probably leaving SM, I don't have much hope at this point.

It was reported yesterday/day before that for the first time ever, YG is in deficit in their profit and margins and no profits can be distributed to shareholders. 

 

Today, BP's tour announcement comes out...go figure!

400k streams in the US but failed to debut on Global charts, meaning their Global streams is less than 1.2M

The backlash was manufactured by haters, who would have found any reason to drag them. If you look at the stats those same people are praising now for their own faves, Girls didn't perform badly at all.

 

Illusion probably would have been the better title track (and I think people were tiring of the KWANGYA lyrics, making Girls less popular with the GP), but Illusion charted well with no promotion regardless and the era overall had record breaking album sales plus Girls and album got high debuts on Spotify.

I saw the other day that they cut this song from their setlist for the US leg and replaced it with *checks notes* Die Trying

Thank GOD I went for the tour in Singapore. I get to keep both Illusion and Thirsty. 

 

they also put Life's Too Short into the setlist

 

(they're doing it regardless, and they don't care what you say about it)

 

I love all the adlibs layered throughout Attitude so much. Liz's adlibs softly placed underneath the prechorus makes the song

The BORN PINK tour made almost 200mil and was a fat paycheck for each of the Pinks. Not sure why anyone is shocked why Blackpink themselves would want to do another tour.
