Now people forget that YG was trademarking all of the Blackpink names. The tour is probably part of the deal and the single part of the tour. 

 

For example when Mamamoo left RBW they signed for an amount of albums and tour in the company as Mamamoo. (it was an info revealed publicly). 

 

Now for BP you can tell, even though we know about the tour since last year due to leak about YG looking for venues for BP (because we know a tour cannot be organized on a short notice), they probably didn't anticipate the girls not renewing but also being that active as solo acts.

also lowkey feel Shut Down was literally supposed to be their Pinks disbandment song… kinda wished they just hung it up on that note and decided to gag with a quick lil single for their 10th anniversary next year. I would also add in that it's an easy paycheck. The girls had mixed results with their releases but they'll always make a few million each if they do a BlackPink tour.
