Being a day 1 Blink to a slight BP hater is tough because it could all be so simple if the girlies (and fans but that's asking too much atp) just cared to hold themselves accountable for 3 minutes instead of staying in their delulu bubbles of photoshoots and influencer meet ups.

Honestly if Dirty Work... works they should tack it on their next release like how they did with Better Things. I honestly think depending if they continue this hot streak with quality and quantity that aespa is capable of doing a stadium tour (after completing their third one). BP definitely could have been a lot bigger but aespa is living proof that the "if BP released 4 times a year they would have kept selling just as much" argument is a straight up lie. aespa started out hardly ever releasing like BP and had gigantic sales, but when they started releasing more often their average sales were halved. Specifically for Korean popularity, aespa is peaking just as big as bp so it's actually an accurate comparison. Twice didn't reach the same levels as bp in the west but their Korean and Japanese peak was SNSD level.

Well no. Aespa became more westernized as they went on but their industrial cyberpunk look and sound was polarizing and an acquired taste to some. Once they cut back on the AI stuff and just made them take the cunty 3008 femmebots their mood board is when they really soared.

Dirty Work might be SM's last attempt to push aespa in Murika / western market then they will prolly focus moving forward on China and Japan which is good

People needs to understand that aespa's sound, concept branding won't gonna work with your average Joe and Susan 

 

 

Aespa is thriving when they are embracing Kpop as what it is. Also China / Japan is where the money

The next comeback is a mini and it'll probably be right after their Korean concerts in August.
