I just checked my Spotify and I ain't stream much new releases. My most played kpop song is still a 2024 release that being Jennie's mantra 

damn hybe really turned off the spotify payola for nj and illit for kateye

BP sold 1M first week first, then aespa/IVE and randomly twice did too

TWICE are referred to as the "ngg" because they were the biggest thing in Korea at some point, and arguably had the biggest peak for a gg in Korea, where they managed to pump out 9 consecutive #1 smash hits between 2016-2018. 

 

BP are indeed way bigger in Korea today, but they are still far from surpassing TWICE's overall numbers in Korea
