Aespa and IVE will surpass TWICE in every metric but digital singles. Twice was unable to surpass Girls' Generation there because they practically disappeared by 2018.

 

Every new Gen has been doing better and better and units are up across the board for all artists since streaming is growing so rapidly. Aespa and IVE both have more digital points overall than TWICE already and their touring numbers at the same point in their careers are miles ahead. That's not to downplay TWICE's achievements - just a reminder that you can't compare across generations because it's unfair for most older artists.

 

Quick question: can you tell me who YG's 4th gen girl group and SM's 4th gen boy group are? We literally have been having the start of generations falsely categorized since the 2.5 gen. It sometimes shocks me how cyclical stans are.
