so they just drop these random songs until next year when the official 2nd single is sent to radio right ?

 

 

The songs aren't bad, but none of the singles are as instant, catchy, or memorable as "Greedy".

She is building a new fanbase. Her original fanbase was the sad girl crowd but then she found a hit in a different demographic w 'Greedy'

 

So she has been slowly but steadily building a new fanbase, and it seems to be paying off, her 2025 tour was sold out. IOIO debut in top 20 US+UK, 2 hands debut in top 41 US + top 10 UK - it suggests that the new fanbase she's building is willing to listen to more music from her

 

I'm not saying she will have another hit as big as Greedy. To have a hit like that, there needs to be a lot of factors (sound, trend, competition, marketing push etc) She needs a song that will be appealing to GP outside of her fanbase

 

But her album is released in Feb... So she could focus on that official single in Feb and that could be the big hit.

 

Wait until her album is released before you count her out

She should just go with 2 Hands.

She needs to let 2 Hands breathe for a bit before moving on

This was my favourite snippet from the songs she played in Sydney. The post-chorus is so catchy

It sounds great but with that said I hope she doesn't drop it until the album comes out. Her label needs to let it's ok, I'm ok peak on radio and actually release 2 hands on there too.

 I think they will choose a different song and push that one in mid-January to coincide with the album release in Feb

 

There's no evidence so far suggesting that they want to promote "2 hands" to radio

Sounds a lot more promising than IOIO and 2 Hands, I can see it being a decent hit (on the same level as She's All I Wanna Be). It doesn't scream smash hit like Greedy though.

I think she's really found a sound that bridges the sad girl of ybmf and the baddie of greedy and her album will be cohesive but she hasn't found the big single she needs to tie it all together.

Well she keeps releasing these songs with no promo lined up. Its not smart.

 

Her schedule is obv too packed

Prob some combination of poor management/promo and also the fact that none of the singles are sticking out the gate

 

I thought it's ok I'm ok was great but neither that nor 2 hands seemed to have much legs chartwise
