Wow Jennie album is doing great, I feel bad for Lisa but she should've hired a better team

It's so disjointed for sure even with the Alter Ego concept.

 

That being said .... The run from Rockstar to New Woman is great

She didn't, there are TikTok videos comparing different versions and the signatures are different. Even in that page you can see the signature is not the same lol.

FUTW was a terrible choice for the title track. Not catchy, cheesy raps, DOA in the US even with the Future feature. Should've been Chill or Lifestyle instead.

yeah, she needs to realize that's she's maybe a rapper in kpop but she's will only be accepted as a pop star in the western world

Let's be real, Lisa and her team blew it when there was more focus on niche audience spots and tik-toks than actual performances on talk shows with wider audiences like Rosie & Jennie had done. Also FUTW was a poor single choice given that they can't even play that on the radio to begin with without massive censorship. New Woman should've been kept for the album release single if not it should've been the Megan collab for more buzz than whatever Future was going to provide. The fact that her last performance was like 4 months ago.

She's on Oscars and Jimmy Kimmel live last week. Let's not pretend that Jennie's team is doing any better at handling promotion It's just Jennie releases the better and more interesting album and her music connects with audience more. Good word of mouth really helps Ruby to thrive

Let's be real, the album was not amazing but it was not terrible either.. everyone acting like jennie dropped a masterpiece while lisa dropped the worst album ever is delusional. I get that everyone had higher expectations for lisa's album and may be disappointed, but I don't think it's just that. Lisa gets more hate than the other girls for some reason, and people on the internet are easily influenced so everyone keeps pushing the same narratives.. all i see in the comments is "Lisa doesn't have any talent, she doesn't know who she is, she is trying too hard, her songs are souless" and then they praise jennie.. but tbh i don't see this big of a difference in the quality of their music. 

Lifestyle would be a great title track, the second verse alone >>>

Chill is such a good song and they went with that 

I think to achieve success as a solo artist (she already did, but I'm talking mainstream success) you have to have some kind of relatability which Lisa lacks, she's shy so her personality is kind of a mystery and it's hard to relate to her or to understand the person she is if you're not already a fan you know what I mean? her persona can come off as unauthentic sometimes

Oscars? She didn't perform her own music so it doesn't even count. Interviews, but she's not PERFORMING. If interviews because of the language barrier aren't her strong suit she needs to be selling the songs through visuals which IS her strong suit by performing them.
