I don't know, I have a feeling like Lisa doesn't know who she really is as an artist and the public can feel it, she's a bit lost without other girls and her live performances show it… going solo after being in a group for years must be really hard, not everyone would be able to work that out 

 

also, dropping her main forte, refined performing and dancing was a huge mistake and the postive response after her VS show performance shows it

yeah, alter egos are actually a very good idea, but I don't really remember her saying in what way are those resembling her? the concept wasn't explored enough… it had some sense when Rockstar and New Woman dropped and her personality and charisma were shining, then everything went downhill after the VMAs and Moonlit Floor… but the main concern is that people don't know who Lisa is, because she didn't introduce herself properly and the alter ego concept is confusing… 

 

we got those alter ego posters and photoshots on top of that and that's it 

she treated it like a kpop concept - photos for the photobooks purposes and that's it - nothing personal in all of that

my mind can't comprehend the lack of performances.. not one when she released her first album??

she's kinda doing everything WRONG but we still love her

imagine being THE performer of the group but skipping the performance opportunities and choosing mostly wrong places to do them

like the 5 egos and 5 singles concept was nice, but she should release the album after New Woman with Lifestyle as the 3rd single, Moonlit Floor as the promo single for the VS show use, FUTW as a post release single and Born Again for the deluxe, she wasted her hype

from my perspective, playing by that hot mess of a strategy by cashing out on your goodwill dragging out the rollout and wasting all your hype on singles before the album which is only worth it if you have an APT under your belt. we all saw the declining 24H yt views from Rockstar's 32M to FUTW 7M as if they werent a red flag

 

a new woman / lifestyle dual single as the album dropped wouldve been iconic. no prereleases, TTPD style so she saves all that initial hype for the entire album.
