I also want to state that people need to make a similar thread about Sophia because our Filipina songstress hasn't been getting enough verses to showcase her skills/ isn't very visible this era.

Also... I am sorry but the "everyone bullying the black girl" narrative is really annoying to hear about her. If anything else, Lara has had to deal with racism about her ethnic features more since their debut. Manon herself actually stated she is tired of everyone labeling her as the pretty girl... I wonder if she is also tired of everyone trying to rally behind her as their token black girl. Still, there is no smoke without fire. Clearly there has been enough smoke to make fans and casual people wonder about her dynamics in the group...and I guess it will be as a wake up call for everyone - the company, the girls and Manon herself. People being a fan of you is a double edged sword... They will say they support you and at the same time claim the dress you picked for yourself as ugly propaganda by the company to discriminate against you ...lol. I hope the passionate fanaticism from this era doesn't scare off the girls.

Katseye quick rise to fame and the overreacting fans are going to be the death of the group lol.... My take is simply that they are still not profitable enough for hybe/Geffen whatever to be spending excess money on them whenever someone falls sick/injured etc. The girls themselves aren't like regular kpop trainees who would dance through bullshit schedules. They come from well off families with a good enough backbone/support structure to not fall into the pressure from their companies to perform so and so. As for Manon.. love her but like..I don't think she ever considered becoming a pop star, much less a K-popish star like the other girls. She has not been very passionate about music in particular, and I feel like she doesn't consider herself too seriously. This might just be her "chill" personality. She is not someone who thinks that singing manufactured pop songs is her calling in life. Her friend circle in Hollywood is bigger than the other girls and she is somewhat of a socialite who likes to hang out with her girlfriend now that she is full time in LA. An injury and resting for it and not being around people and fans all the time is something not out of character for her. Again, of course, this might cause some friction with their company, who I dont think are idiotic enough to "ignore" Manon otherwise considering how popular she has been from the beginning. As for her "feud" with Daniela i.e. deleting pictures with her on IG .....it might just be her/her gf Sophie being weirded out by the fans seriously starting to ship them together, despite Daniela stating she is straight.
