I thought it was kinda a joke at first to hate on Ellen but then it just spiraled out of control

I'll always be grateful to Ellen for all she's done for the LGBT community. I've also been brought to the absolute brink of my sanity at a toxic workplace, and it's hard to forgive somebody responsible for one. The fish rots from the head. If I saw my former boss up there making light of how bad things truly got, I'd be livid too.

They love to kick a successful woman when she's down. Is she perfect? Absolutely not, but she did A LOT of good and also a lot for the community ever since she outed herself. This hate train is ridiculous, there are people out there who did and still do way worse stuff. Forgiveness is the only way forward anyways, but a lot of people aren't able to do that.

She was not "mean" she was downright CRUEL to her staff and literally laughed when they talked about workplace abuse. She is VILE. The fact that shes still trying to act like the victim shows her real character. Poor her? PLEASE.

I never watched Ellen, but I remember thinking her humor was weird/mean in clips from the show. Like, she would embarrass her guests by having unflattering photos projected up on this giant screen behind them (Justin Bieber's nudes, Selena Gomez's weight gain, etc.). It was so uncomfortable
