Now that the movie and reviews are out will Gaga get a nomination for best actress?

No, she isn't for this movie. It's a flop, people don't like it, I hear she is hardly in it. It's just not going to happen this time. Next time (if this doesn't destroy her career in film) she needs to pick a more serious role, not a campy superhero musical.

Oscars are as real as the VMAs nowadays, so why not? Even KStewart with that horrible interpretation of Diana Spencer got one

no, she won't. anybody who knows anything about award seasons can see this. This year is so strong too, like, everyday there's a new acclaimed performance by a different actress. she basically has no chance, at this point.

There's the praise for her acting but then there's the "she could've been in it more" which basically says that she didn't show her true potential enough so that could hold her back.

I quite enjoy Gaga the actress, shame that everything about this movie came crumbling. 

She won't be up for Best Actress, her category is Supp. It's not impossible but it's not a lock either. Best Original Song for Folie a Deux will get a nom for sure so she'll be there and performing regardless

What original song? I didn't think there was one. 

People get acting noms for flop movies all the time. I can see it happening.

I see a chance for Supporting, considering the critics have said she doesn't appear too much there.

Aren't the streets saying that she is a SUPPORTING role?

And apparently the movie will flop so it's very unlikely 

She's the frontrunner for best supported actress/singer

Critic's Choice will probably nominate her because they nominate everyone, especially big names. Other than that I can see the Golden Globes nominating her because they always do their own thing, but I don't think she's getting an Oscar nom based on what people are saying about the movie.

I think should focus in LG7 and then move to another film project

She's getting a best song nomination and maybe an acting nom. No win contention for this atm, could go up if a few critics groups prop her up heavy like they did w Gucci. 

yeah i heard she's neck and neck with Amy Adams in that movie where she plays a dog

 

She only wishes. The movie is bad and boring 

I heard she's barely in it so I guess they'll try her for Supporting Female Actress role I think.

At the very least, I hope this gets Best Makeup and Hairstyling and have Gaga's face plastered all over FYC poster campaigns
