Well with the reception if her album it makes sense to choose a song that sounds nothing like the rest 

one of the best songs on TTPD:TA. it was love at first sight 

ATRL having bad taste as usual... Imagine thinking So High School is the best song in the album  this album is filled with masterpieces... SHS is not it, but then again, her singles are never an accurate representation of the album.

This song is the best on the Anthology sonically but the GTA line is still so foul

she needs to let this mid snooze album go for good 

I'm not mad at this, the music video could be iconic

plus she'll be touring in the US so this has a lot of potential to become a radio hit

I expect her to drop the anthology physicals so to push a song from that side of TTPD makes sense

+ I wonder if this has anything to do with a potential engagement announcement 

after all the heavy synth from Midnights + Cruel Summer + Fortnight/ICDIWABH this is kinda a breath of fresh air for the GP
