Also, I hate to admit it, but the Portuguese flag is... an acquired taste. Especially the Wikipedia version which bungled the colors:

 

 

Those two DO come to mind yeah I know the stars placement is intentional but it looks so random

 

I like the idea of NZ and AU keeping some kind of a common theme, maybe the same colours, embracing their native flags

 

 

Also not a fan of Nepal's mess but at least it's unique

As someone who lives in New Zealand I kind of agree. There are other flags with worse colour combinations, but at least they're (somewhat) inspired. It's a pity because we could do so much flag-wise with the history and culture here. Hopefully it will get changed in the future when the (white) boomers die out.

Not only that but it has roots going back centuries and quite plausibly all the way to the Roman army.  Beat that.

As a Romanian, I will always find it funny how people use the Chad flag as an emoji instead of the Romanian one. Like, gurl, they are ordered alphabetically in the emoji list
