i'm not a fan AT ALL but i spent way too much time on her since last week. this is why she's so big and this album in particular-- she just keeps people talking, which is crazy given the "plain", "boring" or "vanilla" personality most people claim she has. the concept of the album is bigger than the music which unfortunately is a bad thing but "great" for the momentum (for her and the mental frenzy these rollouts cause to her fans). the music falls absolutely flat compared to the glamour it tries to convey.
