And Israel has far more hostages, and did long before Oct 7th, than Hamas does. We've seen how Israel treats their hostages compared to how Hamas does.

She is very clearly trying to get a ceasefire while remaining status quo. If Hamas was as glorious as you guys insinuate they would have just released the hostages by now because if Israel continues to attack after full hostage release there are no excuses anymore for anyone to support them. 
 

As long as they have hostages Israel will continue to do whatever they want.

She said she and the president have been working overnight for the ceasefire to happen, thus making her attached to everything the president does (in this case, giving out 3.5B to Isarel to comfortably carry on with their genocide). She does not get to play on both sides, please be smarter than this, please.

Not necessarily. But don't say "The president and I are working around the clock to secure a ceasefire" when he (including her, since she is part of the administration) just sent 3.5B in weapons a few hours earlier. It's a blatant lie.

Or Biden is trying to butter up the Israeli side. Just like how Biden apparently agreed to release Marwan Barghouti which was one of Hamas demands for a ceasefire.

Harris is deserving of all criticism but I don't think she's a Zionist by any means. I don't think Harris herself could even articulate what Zionism is and what it means to her. Biden, a self-proclaimed Zionist who has a long history with Israel is undeniably a proud Zionist and sees Arabs as subhuman and undeserving of basic human rights. No, people have asked her to show she will differentiate from Biden's status quo pro-Israel support, which this isn't because she has already been echoing Biden's calls for a "temporary ceasefire to get the hostages" for months that do not require the withdraw of Israeli forces from Gaza.

 

The ongoing "ceasefire talks" have gone nowhere because Biden goes "Israel is working hard to meet the deal" and then Bibi will release a press statement like "We will never agree to a ceasefire; we will never withdraw from Gaza until we have killed and slaughtered every last Nukba terrorist" and then Israel assassinates more Palestinian leaders who were the ones doing the ceasefire talks and the process repeats.

The president is the Commander-in-Chief so Biden has pretty unique powers over the military and the greater military apparatus.

 

She could lead Congress in a call to pass legislation stripping the role of the president of some of their war powers with regards to Israel (as the VP is the president of the Senate, she could lead the Senate to pass legislation with a simple 50-50 tie, her being the tiebreaker vote).

 

The bar is not that high for her to pass, as activists are even just asking for her as a campaigner to agree to specific measures if she were president, believing the pressure would be profound on Israel if knowing that any sympathy they have in the White House to continue its genocide will soon end in just 5 months time.

I don't want to tinfoil hat on a politician's behalf but I've wondered if she can't go against what Biden is doing as bluntly as we need because of his staunch support and still having to be in office with him during her campaign.
