Some people have been saying brat is better than Renaissance. What do you think?

It's still Renaissance. But it's a 5/5 album vs a 4.5/5 album (that may grow even more) so they both deserve the love they get

I stream 'BRAT' more often (probably due to recency bias) but I really love the message behind 'RENAISSANCE' and its aesthetics. I also really enjoy a lot of songs from the album like 'CHURCH GIRL' or 'COZY'

A dance pop record with 60+ artists involved and a writing camp vs an electronic record made by a group of friends you could fit in a small house party. Not sure why they're pit against each other, two very different albums. 

BRAT

I love brat but Renaissance is more consistent and has higher highs too imo. Again tho these are both fantastic albums and Brat is meant to be more fun and silly anyway. 

Rennie is top tier of the decade so far and the best of it's year.

RENUSSY and it's not even close. RENUSSY is more in-depth, has more layers, a combination of genres that mix so well together, and features "HEATED," "ALIEN SUPERSTAR," "AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM," "VIRGO'S GROOVE," "COZY," do I need to say more because I will? 
 

 

"brat" is very good in its own way, but, compared to such a well-seasoned album, it's very apparent that "brat" is well, less seasoned.

Renaissance is actually good unlike the other one so

the one with bigger acclaim and less people involved 

oh I voted thinking it was Brat vs Cowboy Carter.

 

Wish there was an option vote again, Renaissance > Brat.

Brat has a few bops but doesn't touch Renaissance level of excellence

Renaissance is a great album but the reason Brat is such a success is because Charli somewhat "let go" on the record. While everything Beyonce does is pulled, nipped, tucked, layered, and super polished.

 

Overall, Brat is a more exciting record and the more fun era. 

The hive loves to point to critical acclaim so perhaps we should let that answer this question?
