Surely it's the biggest, straightest smash OAT? So sad how your fave Madonna's entire discography is largely forgotten and she has ZERO classics that survived in the streaming age like all her peers do. It took massive payola from a Marvel blockbuster to breathe some life into that Like A Virgin (?) song, but even then it doesn't compare to where other 80s/90s hits like Running Up That Hill, Billie Jean, Beat It, IWALY, I Wanna Dance With Somebody, Time After Time, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, etc etc are.

ijbol the album has universal acclaim on MetaCritic. That is reality. It also has a higher score than / is on part with 5/8 Beyoncé albums. Talking about Lana, Lorde, and Sabrina when the album also has a higher metascore than 7/8 Lana albums, 3/4 Lorde albums, and EVERY Sabrina album.

And why wouldn't there be a "release year exclusion"? Every time people talk about "Most streamed songs on Spotify of X year" they talk about songs released in said year. This isn't anything new.
