It's already HUGE on its won, making it a single will destroy its appeal. Also, it already has a billion streams, making it a single would probably help more in longevity but it already has longevity too every year. This and Don't Blame Me will be the classic Taylor songs that younger generations will know in the future but will be surprised that they never charted (or charted low) because they were never singles.

I think we've all thought that she's had this on the back burner if she ever needed a Q3/Q4 single and didn't have things going on. ICDIWABH is still doing pretty well and should have a decent single run, but if she's not promoting a single this time next year, it really would be viable
