No, but the units accumulated from the remix count for the og certification. Same for DFY. Sucks because SYT Remix especially contributed a good amount to the overall units. Wouldn't be surprised if SYT becomes one of the highest certified songs because both original and remix pull big steaming numbers still. 
 

OT: After Hours one of the biggest hit eras with BL and SYT. But why is the RIAA categorizing the songs as R&B/Hip-Hop? They're pop. There is nothing hip-hop about these songs and The Weeknd has always been pop/r&b most of his mainstream career, especially since he started working with Max Martin like a decade ago. Can we stop putting that label on artists just because they're black? So weird.
