This song is just so much more replayable to me than Hung Up and I love Hung Up. but Hung Up relies too much on the ABBA sample. Deeper & Deeper is one of her most adventurous dance songs and ATRL barely talks about it compared to Hung Up or Sorry

This can be like a hidden treasure, only a few appreciate it.

Hung Up had a resurgence in popularity.. both were equally popular at time of release. 

deeper and deeper is better imo but hung up was a much bigger hit ww. probably it's the biggest madonna hit so hung up will always get more love than any of her singles.

Hung Up was a global smash for a reason. It outquality'd "Deeper and Deeper" sorry

 

 

Deeper and Deeper is my favourite Madonna song. I love it so much, especially the bridge. Hung Up, whilst serving high quality, stays behind it

Deeper and Deeper is one of her best songs, but I guess Hung Up has a more universal appeal.

Deeper and Deeper is more like a hidden gem. explore M's discography and you get rewarded.

That is a coincidence but Deeper and Deeper only made it to #15 on the Single Sales Chart while Hung Up made it to #1 in the United States  damn radio holding Madonna over in the 00s! In the 80s/90s, a lot of her singles actually did better on the radio charts than the sales charts.   
 

OT: I guess it's because Hung Up is much more recent and Gen Z loves Abba. So, it being a 00s throwback plus including an iconic Abba sample = a remembered smash hit. Also, it's just an amazing song. But Deeper and Deeper deserves. 

Because the public has horrible taste.

And why is Material Girl still getting all those daily streams?
 

Deeper and Deeper should have been included on the Celebration Tour.

I've been obsessed with Deeper and Deeper since I discovered it, it's such a classy dance banger   It definitely deserves more recognition
