Oh maybe I should have been more specific. Definitely NOT saying it's one sided and Normani is following her or something. Both of their releases have been oddly timed together. 

The second song is definitely more what I want from her. I hope the rest of the album follows suit, because that lead was not it.

Always seemed like a marketing strategy to me coming from both sides. Their albums was even supposedly coming out the same day at one point.

Normani is finally becoming an artist. Love or hate the songs, she's visually creating her first album aesthetic and lane. We haven't seen a new artist do this in a while outside like the obvious Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish. Everyone else looks like they're trying to stick anything to the wall.
 

Normani is staying real consistent, Dopamine is a traditional album era. (just needs better promo )
