Granted I know a loottt of people on here don't really like him, I DO KNOW that he has a huge fanbase and a lot of people that DO like him! 
 

He had one of the biggest peaks in Pop Music history, that ended up leading him to have some of the biggest songs ever in music and break countless touring records for multiple years straight. Even though now he's "flopping" in comparison to his previous eras, he was still a Pop Music phenomenon.

 

So despite all of that, do y'all miss him??? And if so why??? And if you don't, why not???

Noooo! It's been really stressful for me to constantly hear about him, whether it's his music or his personal life. I don't enjoy his music, and I think that's why I prefer not to keep up with him.

Despite of his underpeformances last year I actually loved the album and I still listen to it so there's nothing I can 'miss' from him right now

Yes and no. I lowkey miss the old Ed, like the + and × era Ed when he was putting his heart into his music rather than just chasing success and accolades. I feel like his biggest misstep was trying to be the big sellout popstar with ÷, obviously it was hugely successful at the time but the songs haven't really held up imo and he was doomed to never live up to that kind of success again.

 

I think his career would be in a much better position right now if he had sold on all of his more faceless pop music and continued down a more indie/alternative/experimental path for his own music. It's just been decline to decline to decline from Divide to Equals to Subtract to Autumn Variations.
