But also yolo. I probably spent 300AUD?(I don't remember but it was too much Jesus Christ) to get the Rihanna discography on vinyl just cause I wanted Anti on vinyl gah (only for it then to get released individually morning after lol) the box still haunts me

I'm happy for her personally and hope she does whatever she needs to do during her break, and that's her business, I'm glad she sounds positive (and the Album is peak af) I think she's able to step out of the conversation and that should be respected atp. But I think there's just so many people now, and different communities and off-shoots of people that this kinda "pop culture news" reaches. That's such an overwhelming idea, everyone and everything just becomes noise and then a monolith that can just crush someone completely, the online world is scary and the way it ripples into everyday makes it more intense too I think people aren't ready to casually and then properly participate in these kind of nuanced conversations, never has been, maybe on niche boards but then it's usually around someone (cause pop forum) and here we are with this weird situation with Ari that's happened I'm truly rambling but this all has kinda triggered me in my own way with ED struggles and it's been interesting to observe people on Reddit and general online spaces, it's been surreal TLDR: we should talk about these kinda topics but not solely scrutinising a singular pop star, we show empathy and instead scrutinising the culture Ugh

I grew up with Taylor's music, I'll always listen to it, i am who I am But I'd be a fool not to acknowledge she is literally a multibillion dollar entity/corporation and she's spent more time as a famous person than a regular person, so no doubt her mind is warped by that whole experience and she will do whatever she wants because she can. She KNOWS better than what she's doing, she's not an idiot, I don't think you can get where she is if she was an actual dum dum, but she only picks battles that ultimately benefit her and her corporation more than anything else. Of course she does things like give away millions to different charities, bonuses to different employees of hers But she has the power to set a different standard, but instead just wants to dominate a world she grew up in and has won (she's a billionaire). She's not really risking to try change it, as much as she preaches she is. Such rambles. I could literally write think pieces about her. How'd you get here TSwizzle? TLDR: she's too untouchable now for it to even matter anymore. Money lets you rule the world. And she literally has abundance of it. We little people don't really exist other than to provide for her it seems. But also I can't wait for her new album "13" — she pretends she 13 again and writes from that perspective the whole time
