She needs to move on to single #2 asap for me, this just isn't doing it for me and I don't think there's much chance of this being salvaged commercially 

I knew that streaming would be an uphill struggle for Perrie (and the rest of Little Mix) but considering this song is being absolutely HAMMERED to death on the radio and has been #1 on the airplay chart for a while now, it's a little concerning it's been only been lingering around the 100s on Spotify for about two weeks now. It doesn't really bode well for future singles unless she really comes out SWINGING with something fresh.

 

I imagine the video for Tears has been filmed now, so hopefully that comes out in June as rumoured and is something a bit fresher and a bit better. I love Perrie and her voice so much so I really want to love her solo music.

If Tears is an upbeat ballad maybe it isn't the route they should go for if they're concerned about FAU's chart record as it'll perform worse on paper (without hearing it of course). Just hope no matter what they'll support and release the album which I'm optimistic they will.

I'm very interested to hear what Tears sounds like. I'm surprised it'll be the next single though, it seemed like she and her team were heavily hinting at Rollercoaster. Perhaps that will be single #3? 
 

I do wonder if she'll end up in the same limbo situation Leigh-Anne is in though if she doesn't get a bigger hit with her next single..

I was expecting another bop for summer and not a ballad. However, i've enjoyed FAU so i'm excited for more music and I feel she is the most likely to release an album out of the three girls that have dropped music so far.

Yeah. I think there was clearly initial interest given the first day numbers in the UK, but the song didn't capture people's attention in the way they thought it would.

Her marketing is so bad. Looks like they solely rely on TikTok to go viral. But when you try so badly to go viral, it doesn't work

Ive got 3 Spotify exclusive and 2 normal vinyls on the way!

Looking forward to listening to the performance later, although I'm confused as to why they dropped it on a Wednesday lol
