Are you surprised that the highly anticipated Tik-Tok smash “Doctor” failed to outstream the 6-year old album track “blazed”?

BONUS: It also failed to outstream the “yes, and?” remix…

  • Because the underperformance of "Yes, and?" made arianators insecure, they're aware of the potential lashings on the Spotify thread of ES from the stans of currently bigger MPGs, but they're in a situ

Well according to ATRL, Miley is one of the biggest female musical acts following Flowers. Not to mention Spotify's user base has grown exponentially since 2018 when Sweetener was released. Based on that logic, don't you think a new single from the alleged girl of the moment should be out streaming an album track?

Looks like River, Jaded and Used to Be Young have a sister to keep them company in the post-Flowers release club!

It literally sounds like one honestly

The biggest ex-act thread must've hit some nerves.

OT: Yes, because Blazed is a **** song.

well, it’s a co-lead song and the music video was released under Miley’s YT channel so it seems to be released under both acts names

:ryan3:

'it's an old pharrell demo'

so is blazed. metadata of the leaked file shows it was recorded in july 2014 by pharrell :suburban:

No wonder Ariana's new lead single has such a laughable stay on the chart. Her fans clearly only care about debuts.

It’s a collab for Pharrell’s album, he has the first credit & it’s not released under Miley’s label imprint either. It’s a 2012-2013 scrap and the original version has been leaked for 7 years.

We all know Ariana has bigger debuts but comparing her to this random old droplet is not the drag you think it is :deadbanana4:

What is with the Miley draggings?

There aren't even enough Miley fans to warrant this reaction

I mean we can give it a month and check the streams then, doubt the numbers will be much better then but if that’s what you want

Because Miley's fan base has been insisting that Miley is bigger than Ariana post-Flowers

We don't, actually. For example yes, and? outstreamed Doctor (a brand new song) on Global Spotify yesterday despite everyone writing it off as a front loaded flop. Hopefully it will be able to outstream both blazed and yes, and? on day 2!

Off topic but why does this demo sound so bad :snowball:

Ariana stans being on her insecure era, oh I hope Ariana's Eternal Sunshine would have at least 1 smash cuz the lashings will be inevitable otherwise...

Maybe it will take time to catch up, idk with Miley... sometimes her song takes time to climb, while sometimes it smashes right out to gate

Take a look through basically any Ariana Grande thread since yes, and? has been released and you'll quickly understand why

ES will most likely not have a smash as big as Flowers but I can assure it will debut with at least 120k (something Miley hasn’t achieved since the Obama administration) and spend more than two (2!) weeks in the top 10 of BB200 (another thing Miley hasn’t achieved since the Obama administration)
