Ok so after multiple listens, "girl… so confusing" is now my modern "What It Feels Like For a Girl" (Madge) meets Robyn. This album is so surprisingly personal and I'm loving how it's being handled with the production. 😍

Yup, I am now wholly feeling the ballads 😭 "I think about it all the time" is coded in a very specific kind of British pop and I'm loving that. 

Last note: the fact that "365" is just outright a club song about doing coke is insane in the best way.

It's so hard to pick a top 3. I loooove every song. Currently obsessed with 365, Mean Girls, and Everything Is Romantic though

This is a perfect combination of the sentiments of Charli and the sonics of hifn. My gripe with Charli is all the useless features and washed out production that drags down the album. Brat fixes all of that and mixes it with CRACK

Addicted to Girl, So Confusing: the lyrics are so relatable (even as a guy ) and the prod has me levitating

omg i LOVE the features. Part of her creative genius is how good she is at collaboration, which is why the mixtapes like Number 1 Angel and Pop 2 are so good. She really put a lot of new artists on my radar and expanded my music universe.

 

But I also really love that she did this album with no features. It's new for her, and I think she really rose to the challenge. 

Pleasantly surprised by the album! It's really good. 

The singles had lost me a bit, but I love everything except the ballads! 
My favorite tracks are "Mean Girls", "Rewind" and "Sympathy is a Knife".
