Maybe she shouldn't be singing if she she can't do it properly. :toofunny3:

This is the third time her voice has given her trouble. The first was during the 21 era and she ended up having to get surgery. It also happened 25 era and she had to cancel a few dates on the tour because of it. And now it is happening during this era. I know this time is because she is sick but still it seems like a reoccurring thing. This doesn't seem to happen to other artists so I hope she is taking care of her voice so it lasts her a long time.

This sounds terrifying. She's belting all night and chit chatting in between so this is no surprise. Wishing her a speedy recovery!

People want us to believe that Adele is the vocalist of an entire generation.

There are other professional singers who belt on Broadway (while also acting and dancing) in multiple shows per week, and sometimes in multiple shows per day. Why can’t Adele manage it one day per week? C’mon now :rip:

She sings live, unlike many others

Sad for her and the people who have made bookings :(

At this point, I’m kinda surprised she continues to perform shows. I think she’s better suited for one offs, limited engagements, and award show performances. Her voice is a treasure but clearly she overuses it easily. Gotta think long term! Would rather her preserve it to make new music.

Plenty of singers and vocalists do all the time! It's a known fact that Adele has poor technique and this is at least in part why she's lost her voice in the past.

Girl literally belts for a living, how would anyone be able to do that day in and day out and not have that happen without the proper technique??

Yall downvoting me are only showing off your cluelessness and ignorance on the matter. :cm:

She wants money though and this doesn't pay as well

I don't get how she has so many issues with her voice. At her level she needs to have a plan to maintain it.

I wonder if its because she talks a lot during her shows and throws her vocal cords off.

Why not use prerecorded vocals like other Vegas legends have done? We know she has the pipes so let her preserve her voice!

the anecdotes and audience interactions always provide a unique experience anyways

I don't think anyone wants to go to an Adele concert to hear her lipsync. Her and Gaga are one of the only artists that refuse to do so and they should be applauded. If she wants to maintain her voice I'm sure she has a lot of options and services she can hire to do so.

No shade but I remember when the Nekci Menij Show made a joke about "Adole" losing her voice when she's meant to perform live. 12 years later it actually came true. :deadbanana2:
