• Shakira teasing a new era
• Camila Cabello dropping snippets
• Rihanna hinting towards a comeback (?)

 

As well as Ariana dropping next month, Dua Lipa dropping a new single, Billie Eilish rumored to drop after Ariana, etc.

 

Why is everyone teasing new projects this early into the year? And with Grammys and Superbowl viewership numbers being the highest in years, does this signal the return of pop culture?

Leap year / election year, something something stars aligned literally and figuratively. Either way, we’re eating good this year

It's already a big difference from last year, when everyone was complaining about MPGs not called Taylor Swift or Olivia Rodrigo not dropping.

Because they're trying to get their time in the sun in before Billie Eilish 3 eclipses everyone later this year 

Gaga, Taylor, Caroline, Dua, Charli, SZA, Jessica Pratt, MGMT, Everything Everything, Rihanna, Lana, Bey, Allie X, Ariana, Gossip, The Veronicas, Billie, Vampire Weekend, Maggie Rogers, Hovvdy, Kacey, Bat for Lashes, Faye Webster, Marina, FKA twigs, Banks, Mount Kimble, Beth Gibbons, Waxahatchee, Adrianne Lenker, Empress of, Hiatus Kaiyote, Khruangbin, Adult Jazz, Amen Dunes, Iron & Wine, Idles, Yard Act, Grandaddy, Tierra Whack, Mannequin P*ssy… this has potential to be one of the most stacked years of all time  and I know I’m forgetting a ton more! I just think everyone’s feeling inspired these days (myself included, I’m working on a new EP too!)
