  • Will you Taylor Swift fans stop trying to compare this bland, mediocre girl to Michael Jackson.   She will never be on his level.

Considering what Adele just leaked from her leaked substack page about Taylor & Travis, I don't think Taylor has much of a career left !!!!   From Adele's leaked substack page:

  • Re-doing the same albums and selling new ones that sound the same while getting millions in return. I would work that "hard" too.

Yes. She’s a monster. Nothing will ever be enough to satisfy her.

then why did you enter the thread? to be edgy?

Celebrity work ethic is a crazy thing to celebrate. Not trying to be edgy was just kind of surprised to see someone getting a boner over it. If this really excited you then thats actually fine sorry if you took it the wrong way. Go off Taylor

Beyonce in her prime was also working very very hard.

This.

Beyonce 2000-2008 was unparalleled, I think even compared to Taylor she was doing way more. Granted, she doesn't write most of her work but the physicality of her promo cycles were way more insane than anything Taylor 2019-now does.

2000 had Writings on The Wall (with like 3 full singles) with the Charlies Angels rollout, MTV shared tour

2001-2002 Survivor with at least 3 full singles with full promo rollouts Austin Powers Goldmember, Carmen Hiphopera, preparing for DiL, debut DC tour

2003-04 Dangerously in Love with at least 4 big singles, DiL tour

2005 Destiny Fulfilled and its respective tour while filming for Dreamgirls

2006-07 Dreamgirls movie and its press tour, Pink Panther movie and press tour, BDay full rollout (with like 10 music videos) and tour

2008 IASF (with like 5 full singles), and its respective tour, filming for Obsessed, Cadillac Records

In less than a decade she put out like 6 albums with like 6 movie/TV projects that have her as a significant role (lead or supporting) and like 6 other tours too. Not to mention her ad campaigns for multiple brands (like that Japanese water and the Nintendo DS nnnnn)

Her output by objective numbers is lower than 2020s Taylor but the amount of hustle she put in physically especially with how singles rolled out before (needing all that expensive live stage promo every single) she definitely worked physically way more.

So if I had mentioned one of your faves would you be saying the same thing or is it just Taylor you despise?

Yes. But she does coke like other celerbrities. So don't compare yourself to her.

I've actually wondered about this, lol. It's literally impossible to create an album in the middle of a tour; it's just too much, lol

I wouldn't be surprised it's impossible to work hard as hard as she does when it comes to song writing

I don’t think we need to get into the work ethic Olympics to figure out who is working more than others.

It’s very much the case that Taylor is extremely hard working. This has been the case from the beginning.  She built her career through sweat and putting the work in.

What maybe makes her a little unique is she has maintained this work ethic long past what she needed to start and solidify her career. She was already a legend years ago and Lorde knows is wealthy enough but maintained her drive.

You are getting really defensive and clearly just want to argue so i’m not going to respond to you anymore

How do you think she made Speak Now, Red, and 1989?

But this also because of the opportunities she’s presented to that the rest of the industry doesn’t have

and the privilege half of the industry also doesn't have.

I do get your point, but is tiring to be calling out everything all the time.

If we go this path the thread will end up about capitalism being bad, lately all threads are ending in some political unnecessary topics.

I agree on this tho

No. People like JayZ started in poverty and became billionaire moguls. Taylor Swift started with an investment banker dad who did her business deals. She’s had to work a lot less to achieve a lot more

Nobody worked harder than Tina Turner in the 1960s and 70s. Her ass was on stage night after night. She had to write the records because Ike was too out of his mind to do it. Then, when she was destitute, she did shows at hotels and any venue that would have her while she was raising children.

Taylor works hard, but come on. She's a mega celebrity with a major team around her that helps her manage her life.

Absolutely. I consider Bey to be an athlete tbh. She had so much energy it was scary at times. She really learned to reel it in by IASF :WAP:

If we were to compare Taylor to an average K-pop artist, it wouldn't be unusual to be working that hard and very often releasing new music (see TWICE for the most part of their career). K-pop artists are constantly recording new music, rehearsing, planning and shooting music videos, and preparing for or going on tours, all at the same time. However, seems like in the western music industry, it has typically been the norm to only release new music every so often, rather than constantly feeding the fans with new content.

tbf your average K-poppie has no say in any of the creative vision of the work they put out. At least for your average to nugu group, even top groups esp those in the first 7 yrs phase before contract renegotiations are subject to the whims of their creative teams, example is SNSD. Taeyeon hated almost all of their title tracks nnnn

Practicing choreo taught to you, filming for things you're just told to do, sing songs that are already done and complete and just need your voice in it is way simpler than being in creative control start to finish. Granted their lives r way more physically exhausting.

When you love to do something it’s not work…

I’d argue someone like Doja has to work harder due to choreography and doing Coachella and videos and recording rap consistently

and I’d say no one worked harder than Britney back then. She was in movies, tv shows, doing constant press and interviews, recording remixes to her songs, re arranging different versions of them for award shows and tours. I mean, the girl was so busy she had to learn the Billboard award show choreography where she did the backhand spring by watching videos on her airplane while traveling for her tour! And around her birthday no less

Considering what Adele just leaked from her leaked substack page about Taylor & Travis, I don't think Taylor has much of a career left !!!!

From Adele's leaked substack page:

Travis Kelce, the talented NFL player, was unknowingly playing a dangerous game. His life was about to take an unexpected turn as Nicki Minaj, the cunning and vindictive rapper, hatched a plan to teach him a lesson he'd never forget.

Nicki Minaj had a secret – an active and severe case of genital herpes. She was determined to spread her misery to anyone she could, and Travis Kelce was her latest target. Having access to a network of unsuspecting individuals, she carefully orchestrated her plan.

Travis's life took a dark turn when he met a seemingly innocent woman who was eager to get close to him. Unbeknownst to Travis, this woman was actually a pawn in Nicki Minaj's sinister scheme. As they grew close, the woman planted herself strategically, ensuring that their intimate moments would leave Travis vulnerable to the herpes infection.

As the days went by, Travis began to notice something wrong. His private parts and lips were feeling strange, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. Suddenly, the symptoms became unbearable, and Travis was rushed to the hospital, only to be diagnosed with genital herpes.

While Travis struggled with the diagnosis, he was blissfully unaware that he had inadvertently spread the infection to another unsuspecting soul. Taylor Swift, the renowned singer-songwriter, had crossed paths with Travis and had been infected as well.

Taylor's journey with herpes would prove to be particularly difficult. As the infection spread to her fingers, she found herself unable to play the guitar, a talent that had defined her career. Her fans, who had once been enraptured by her music, began to turn their backs on her, unable to sympathize with her condition.

Fueled by her own bitterness and past treatment of Celine Dion, who also suffered from a musically debilitating condition, Taylor's fall from grace was swift and merciless. Her misfortune became a public spectacle, with herpes jokes and memes spreading like wildfire on the internet.

As Travis and Taylor continued to suffer, they found themselves unable to resist each other's company. Their embrace only served to fan the flames of the infection, leaving both of them covered in sores and weeping blisters. The once-proud couple now resembled victims of a deadly virus.

Travis's herpes-ridden body eventually caught the attention of NFL officials, who, appalled by the infections, decided that he was no longer fit to play. Forced into retirement, Travis was left to grapple with the consequences of his actions.

Taylor, too, faced the reality of her situation. As her fans deserted her, she was left to confront the truth – she was not the innocent, blameless figure they had once believed her to be. Her music career, once a beacon of light, now seemed like a distant memory.

In the end, Travis and Taylor's fates were forever entwined, both of them suffering the consequences of Nicki Minaj's vindictive plan. As the pair struggled to come to terms with their new reality, they were left to ponder the harsh truth: some people are just too weak to resist the allure of revenge.

Nicki Minaj, the mastermind behind this twisted plot, watched from the sidelines, sneering and jeering as both Travis and Taylor faced their respective downfalls. She couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and satisfaction in knowing that she had finally taught them a lesson they would never forget.

Nicki Minaj, the architect of the unfolding tragedy, revels in the suffering of her fellow celebrities. The underlying motive behind her malicious actions was fueled by her resentment of their privileged status – a status she believed they had exploited to their advantage.

As Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's lives crumbled around them, their fans were left to grapple with the harsh reality of their icons' misfortunes. The unraveling of Taylor's once-thriving career provided a stark reminder of the fleeting nature of fame.

Taylor's songwriting, which had once captivated the hearts of millions, was now exposed as shallow and void of genuine emotion. Her previous works, once cherished as masterpieces, were now relegated to the status of overhyped mediocrity.

As Taylor's fans slowly came to the realization that they had been duped by her art, they were left with a profound sense of disillusionment. The once unwavering love and devotion they had felt for her music now seemed like a cruel joke, played by a heartless, selfish woman who had been infected with genital herpes.

Meanwhile, Travis Kelce's legacy as an NFL star was reduced to a mere footnote in the annals of herpes-infested athletes. The once-revered athlete now faced an uncertain future, his body wracked with the consequences of a selfish, petty act of revenge.

As the story draws to a close, the bitter taste of Nicki Minaj's revenge lingers in the air, a testament to the destructive power of hatred and vindictiveness. The once-great Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, now burdened by their herpes infections and the public's scorn, are left to pick up the pieces of their shattered lives, while the rest of the world moves on, never to forget the lessons they learned.

Some fun fan fiction :hippo:
