One of the best albums from 2014, the album didn't perform that well when compared to Love?. What could she have done to save the era?

She was never an album seller. Her first one or two albums sold well but 1. That was during the golden age of album sales 2. It still paled in comparison to her peers who were juggernaut album-sellers like Britney who was shifting above ten million copies in one year. So even if she had some of the biggest hits of the last decade, it could still not generate buzz for her album. I mean, not even 5 million for an album featuring a song as huge as 'Tonight We Gonna Hit The Floor'? Crazy

People really don't care about Jlo music anymore or then. Her early 2000's fanbase didn't follow her, and I remember around that time it started being viral in certain circles in Twitter that she couldn't sing.

 

Luckily with Love? she trendchased with On the Floor, but even that album sold a small amount for featuring a top 5 single.

idk but this was a #1 in my playlist

by the time most pop girls are in their 40s or 50s, no one wants new music from them unless it's a particularly exceptional song. it's sad and unfair but that's how it is

JLo was always more of a singles artist to begin with. But even then, the single choices for that album just weren't that great. I Luh Ya Papi as the lead single was an atrocious decision.

i think even J.Lo fans will agree that this album is not good. It's full of fillers. I only enjoyed like 2-3 songs... and I can't even remember them lol

A.K.A., So Good, Worry No More and Same Girl are all fun bops but I also can’t take her music seriously. I’m listening to them in like a camp way.

This album is underrated. Title track, So Good, First Love, Expertease, Let It Be Me are all great tracks

First, she was never an album seller. She managed to get good numbers when she was at her peak. Now that she's past that, of course she's not going to sell albums.

 

Second, the album is awful and you only sort of like it if you allow for some tracks to grow on you. I prefer LOVE?, J to tha L-O and This is Me... Then.
