I actually don't mind the sample...believe it or not, there are LOTS of young radio listeners that have never heard Whenever, Wherever...so I'd be willing to bet many younger fans won't know the original song, as sad as it is to say.

 

I WILL say however, she really needs to lay off the samples because a LOT of her most popular songs are sample-driven. It's giving unable-to-get-a-hit-without-one.

I have a Kygo song on my 2016 spotify playlist that sounds just like this LOL. I am not mad at it though, I like the tropical house vibe suspended chorus. I know a lot of people do not like it and are not here for it though.

We're currently in a Ava drought so I'll take what I can get. I just hope that we get AM3 music asap shortly after this and a new album out by summer
