Yeah low numbers for an album that had a top 3 hit, but her hype fizzled down quickly after Boy's a Liar smashed so she should've released it much earlier. Mosquito flopping was also an indication this album wouldn't do well. But at least the album is really good.

It’s a nice album, I’ve been listening to it a lot since it came out, but it very much is just background noise. Outside of Capable of Love there aren’t really complete pieces of music on the whole thing. She needs to evolve past jingles because I think she’s a great songwriter and personality and should be an A lister.

1. shes not some huge a-list artist :rip:

2. Y2K sound is very niche

3. one moderate hit

album still solid tho.

GP doesn’t know how to appreciate real talent when they see it :coffee2:

Sadly too indie for the general public to appreciate outside of TikTok. The album is great indeed.

she's an IYKYK artist and people shouldn't expect her to smash with MPG numbers just cause a song of hers went viral on tiktok.

What I don’t understand is that she was much more hyped when she was an indie artist as soon as she blew up, she lost her “gatekeeping” fans.

Let me stream ha new album. Honestly I've only heard like 3 songs from her and I saw her live performance and she doesn't have much stage presence, a fan that stormed the stage upstaged her:mazen:.  It's not too late for her though, the potential is there. She just needs that push and someone to refine her image and sound.

Well, maybe If all the tracks were as good as Capable of Love and at least 3 minutes long :doc:

This album was never gonna be a smash hit chart topper, idk why people would even expect it to be. She's not that type of artist, and not everyone has to be. Boys a liar blew up but it wasn't even a part of this album rollout, it was added as a bonus track on streaming cause of its numbers.

Idk why we're holding her up to such a high standard. Yeah BAL2 was a hit but she's not some MPG. She's still growing and building her fanbase and that takes time.

She's faceless. And although technically 'Boys a liar' is her song... the stand out part of the track is Ice's feature. That song was more of a launching pad for Ice Spice than it was for her.

Never knew she dropped an album :ryan3:

Plus isn’t she Indie? :ryan3:
Boys a Liar was a bop but her other music sounds unique yet borderline Kidz Bop :ryan3:

Boys a Liar is her MOST Kidz Bop sounding song :rip:

She’s an alternative artist who bags TikTok hits every once in a while. Her sound doesn’t even compare to what’s happening on the charts so I’m confused why anyone expected huge numbers from her :deadbanana:

She COULD have charted higher with more promotion and bigger PR, but she doesn’t seem to be going that route.
