I hope it’s a lesson for her. 

I like Shakira but it feels like she's getting off a bit lightly here. I'm sure that fine won't make a dent in her pockets. The rest of us all have to pay tax whilst earning a lot less than she does, it's only fair rich people pay their fair share too.

I'm surprised she accepted a deal and admitted to committing fraud since she always said she was innocent.

 

I'm just glad this is finally over so queen can give us a new album and tour 

they were definitely going to make an example out of her if she didn't take the plea deal

I think she also just wanted this whole mess to be over. It was also tarnishing her image quite a bit and was almost always talked about when her name dropped. 

change the title to “Shakira admits having defraud 14,5 Million to the Spanish Treasury”

So she admits she committed tax fraud? A regular person that isn’t a millionaire would have to go to jail for this or at least do community service. its so annoying how celebrities are held to higher regards and standards in the courtroom all the time. but good for her she only has to pay up, means new music and tour hopefully.
