He achieved this with less promo and look at the AM placements which represent about half of US streams.

They are both not that big globally. Neither managed to crack the IFPI top 10 at any point of their careers.

Most singers won’t be able to crack IFPI top 10 tho. Dua debuted at #2 first day, which is pretty good for her. Jack outstreaming Dua in the US is still surprising considering the insane amount of playlisting Dua has.

Jack’s last album lasted three weeks on billboard lol bfr hes not touching dua anytime soon. He had smarter promo tactics though. He promoted the snippet and it became viral on tiktok before release (just like with greedy, but he’s bigger than Tate)

 

Houdini had a three seconds snippet and weeks long era teasing (no tiktok long snippet with Dua) lol Theres enough time for people to discover it the next few weeks through playlists and radio exposure. Still her best numbers

Dua is really not that big of a name in the US. Her songs always need to get pushed hard there to become hits.

Victoria Monet will win. She’s been a big writer in the industry for quite some time, and the peer support (people from the industry) is definitely there considering she has seven nominations.
