In all seriousness, why are we even surprised? The US takes AGES to latch onto a Dua single. It's like this every time. From "New Rules" to "Don't Start Now"...even with "Levitating" and "Dance the Night." We Loves always melt down at the beginning before the song stabilizes  

 

Plus the worst scenario is that her singles accumulate stable streams with less than stellar peaks. "IDGAF," "Electricity," "Scared to Be Lonely," "We're Good," and "Love Again" all has lackluster peaks but have excellent streams. They're not flops either, many people know these songs and they're party staples.

 

Dua will be fine. And tbh, she's already proven herself as a reliable pop girl. Outside of stan discourse, people already see her as a staple.
